The private garden at Maison Jazey is reserved for our guests, in the heart of the medieval town. The Suite Côté Jardin opens directly onto it.

How do I get to Maison Jazey?
Maison Jazey is at 20 Rue de la Liberté, in the heart of the medieval town of Semur-en-Auxois (Côte-d'Or, Burgundy) — everything is within walking distance. By car: 10 min from the A6 motorway (exit 23), 1 h 15 from Dijon, 2 h 30 from Paris; secure private parking included. By train: Montbard TGV station — 1 hour from Paris by TGV, with our valet service. By plane: the aerodrome (LFGQ, paved runway) is 1.5 km away, with a welcome on the tarmac.
Is parking included in the price?
Yes. Secure private parking is included in the price of each room, within the walls of the property — a rarity in the heart of the medieval town. We are 10 minutes from exit 23 of the A6: an ideal stopover between Paris and the south.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is available as an option at €23 per person when booking direct (€25 via the platforms). Fresh produce: freshly ground coffee, pastries, homemade jams, seasonal fruit salad, scrambled eggs and local Burgundy specialities. Brought directly to your apartment.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3 pm, check-out until 12 noon. We are happy to be flexible: if your train or your route calls for a different time, let us know — we will find a solution.
What is the difference between the two rooms?
The Suite Côté Jardin (from €178/night) is a very spacious 95 m² first-floor apartment laid out in enfilade: parquet floors, mouldings and high ceilings, with a dining room, a sitting room, a bedroom, a bathroom with bathtub and a fitted kitchen — garden view, air conditioning, sleeps up to 4. The Studio Côté Cour (from €137/night) is a beautiful 30 m² ground-floor studio, tastefully renovated: black-marble walk-in shower, Burgundy stone floors and high-end furniture — courtyard view, fitted kitchen, sleeps up to 2. Both include secure parking, fibre-optic Wi-Fi, concierge service and welcome touches.
Do you offer wine tastings?
Yes, we offer private tastings of Burgundy Premiers Crus with L'Oenothèque de Semur. Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune: a selection guided by an expert, in an intimate format reserved for our guests.
Is Maison Jazey suitable for remote working?
Yes, the Suite Côté Jardin has fibre-optic internet (495 Mb/s symmetrical), a comfortable desk and air conditioning. A calm, comfortable setting for extending your stay while working, 2 h 30 from Paris.
Do you have air conditioning?
The Suite Côté Jardin is air-conditioned. The Studio Côté Cour does not have air conditioning.
Can we come with a baby?
Yes, a baby cot is available on request in both apartments. The Suite Côté Jardin sleeps up to 4 thanks to its sofa bed.
Are you close to Fontenay Abbey?
Yes, Fontenay Abbey (UNESCO) is 30 minutes away (26 km). Also nearby: Flavigny-sur-Ozerain (15 min), the MuséoParc Alésia (20 min), the château de Bussy-Rabutin (15 min) and Châteauneuf-en-Auxois (30 min).
What is there to do in Semur-en-Auxois?
Semur-en-Auxois is one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Burgundy: cobbled lanes, the Notre-Dame collegiate church, ramparts and towers, the Pont Joly and its viewpoints, the municipal museum and the Sunday market (8 am – 1 pm) — all explored on foot; the collegiate church is 280 m from the house.
